HUMANITARIAN AID VOLUNTEERING PROJECTS As a volunteer active under this strand, you may be supporting humanitarian aid operations, aimed at preserving life, preventing and alleviating human suffering and maintaining human dignity and to strengthening the capacity and resilience of vulnerable or disaster-affected communities. It is forseen that such initiatives may take place to mutually support EU member states as well as other third countries affected by man-made or natural disasters. Humanitarian Aid Volunteering projects funded under this strand will offer the opportunity to young people aged 18 to 35 years old to participate in volunteering activities. Engaging in European Solidarity Corps activities also enhances your personal, educational, social, civic and professional learning.
